Required Credentials/Deposits

What kinds of credentials will I need to present when I pick up my rented car?

Driver’s license and passport requirements

All drivers must present a valid international driver's license. You will be required to present a valid passport in the driver’s name.

"Deposit" credential requirements

The preferred second required credential is a major credit card such as MasterCard or Visa (in some cases American Express, please contact us for more information). Prepaid charge/debit or gift cards are not an acceptable form of identification at rental pick up.

Do you require a deposit to rent a vehicle?

Yes! Generally, it is amount of 10% of the new car price.


When I have to pay the rental?

The rental payment is made only at the beginning of the rental in cash or by credit card. In some cases, there's a security prepayment for booking a car. 


What should I do if I have problems with my car?

What should I do if I'm involved in an accident or the car is damaged during my rental?

When an accident occurs, first ensure that you are in a safe area away from traffic. Call us on +393391461303 Next, contact local police and complete an accident report. 

What if I am not at fault for the accident/damage?

Ensure that you get the other party's contact information so we may pursue them and/or their insurance company on your behalf for damages. Please note that our pursuit of the other party does not absolve you from your contractual obligation to pay for the damage.

Who is responsible for parking, tolls and moving traffic violations?

You are responsible for payment of any parking, toll and moving traffic violations along with a reasonable administrative fee, so please drive safely and observe all ordinances.

Pick Up and Delivery

Where can I pick up and leave the vehicle?

We can deliver and collect your vehicle at any address, hotel or airport.

Age Restrictions

What are the minimum age requirements for renting?

You must be at least 23 years old, but for cars with more than 300 hp (supercars/sports car), you must be at least 26 years old.


Extra Equipment Rental

I can ask to include a child seat?

Of course! We will be happy to provide the baby seat or booster. During the inquiry, kindly specify the age of the child.

Permissable Usage

Cancellation policy

What is your cancellation policy?

If we have your written booking or prepayment or receiving your documents we consider this like date of confirmation of rental. After that, you can cancel your booking, but please before it read our cancellation policy. 


  • Up to 7 days from the rental start, 30% of the total booking amount is kept for the entire following season as credit towards a rental.
  • From 7 to 2 days prior to the rental start, you lose 50% of the total booking amount.
  • From 2 to 0 days prior to the rental start, you lose 100% of the total booking amount.

"NO SHOW" after 2 hours of according meeting time is considered like canceling of order.


Additional Drivers

Can someone else drive a car that I rent?

 Yes. An additional driver must be at least 25 years of age. RLC will check the additional drivers' license to ensure that it is valid.


Where are you located?

Rent Luxe Car has a lot of rental points in all main cities of Europe and we can delivery the requested car to any adress, hotel or airport.

Can I pick up at one location and return to another?

Yes – and you won't believe how easy is it. With our convenient and affordable one-way rentals from participating airport, downtown and suburban locations.
